Centering and Breath Prayers: Changing Focus

If you know what it’s like to try to fight your way through a jungle of thoughts and distractions to get to a place of prayerful attentiveness. Center Prayer is a good practice to help do just that. With this way of praying, we find a posture of the heart that focuses our attention in the right direction, regardless of invasive thoughts. Breath Prayer is a shortened version of Centering Prayer and is one that can keep you aware of God’s presence throughout the day.
